As your candidate for Township Committee, I am dedicated to protecting property rights and safeguarding property values. I will control taxes, practice fiscal responsibility, and work to prevent large-scale development in the township. I will serve as an independent, common-sense advocate for our community, opposing top-down State mandates and ensuring that Mendham Township’s voice is always heard.

As Owner and COO of CWI.Design for the past 26 years, I lead a specialized team of 14 in delivering bespoke home furnishings and interior design. We specialize in mid- to high-end residential projects throughout the NY/NJ corridor, the Philadelphia Main Line, Martha's Vineyard, and South Florida.

Biography

 

A lifelong New Jerseyan, I was born in Newark and raised in West Caldwell. My wife, Rachel, and I have been married for 38 years; after three decades in New Providence, we moved to Mendham Township in 2019, drawn by its quiet neighborhoods, open spaces, and unique rural charm.

​

For 26 years, Rachel and I have owned and operated CWI.Design, a custom home furnishings firm. While Rachel leads the creative vision, I manage the company’s complex operations—from finance and technology to HR and logistics. This business experience has given me a deep understanding of the discipline required to manage budgets and lead teams effectively.

​

My commitment to our community is rooted in years of hands-on service. I currently serve as Chair of the Mendham Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and President of the Oak Knoll Property Owners Association. During my time in New Providence, I served two terms on the Borough Council (including a term as Council President) and ten years on the Planning Board.

​

Beyond local government, I believe in giving back through civic organizations. I am the immediate past president of the New Providence Lions Club and a Melvin Jones Fellow. Whether serving as a fundraising chair for the Boy Scouts or participating in the Brookside Community Club, my goal has always been to leave our community stronger than I found it.
